The problem we're solving

Each year, 2.4 million newborns die in their first month of life. Hypothermia, breathing problems, and apnea are among the most common — and most preventable — causes. Simple, affordable monitoring tools can save lives.

BEMPU was founded to fill this gap: to build medical-grade devices that work without smartphones, without reliable electricity, and without highly trained operators — and to make them accessible at scale.

Today, our devices are used by families in India, deployed by UNICEF in 16 countries, and trusted by leading hospital chains across Asia.
