Our mission
On a mission to eradicate preventable newborn death — starting with neonatal hypothermia.
Hypothermia is one of the leading causes of death for low birth weight and premature newborns worldwide, yet it's simple to detect and treat. TempWatch gives parents and health workers an early warning, in time to act with kangaroo mother care.

🇧🇯 Benin
A midwife's small intervention, even through COVID-19
In Benin, midwives like Hermine fitted TempWatch on newborns as part of their everyday care — a simple enough intervention that it kept going even during COVID-19, when so much else in newborn care had to pause. UNICEF Benin profiled Hermine's work protecting babies in her district.
🇵🇬 Papua New Guinea
Reaching cold highland communities, known as "Bebi Kol Kilok"
In Papua New Guinea's colder highland regions, community health workers deploy TempWatch — known locally as "Bebi Kol Kilok," or baby cold clock — directly to newborns at home, in partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Health.
