🇹🇬 BEMPU in Togo
Reducing Neonatal Hypothermia with UNICEF
TempWatch Deployment in Togo
BEMPU TempWatch has been distributed and implemented in Togo as part of UNICEF's regional programming in West Africa. Togo is one of 16 countries where UNICEF has deployed TempWatch to address neonatal hypothermia — a leading cause of preventable newborn deaths.
A doctoral study by Dr. Bankoti evaluated TempWatch in a randomized controlled trial in Togo, including mortality outcomes. Additional program details, photos, and stories from the Togo deployment are coming soon.
